Assistant

Ask your numbers a question in plain language and get an explanation built from the same reports the pages show, with one-click next steps.

The Assistant is a chat that explains your data. Ask "why did we drop this month?" or "which prompts are weakest?" and it answers from the same reports the pages show — score, engines, competitor ranking, strongest and weakest prompts, gaps, coverage — plus the passages of your knowledge base that match the question. Use it when you want an explanation or a next step without opening five screens.

Where to find it

At the top of the sidebar, switch from Overview to Assistant (https://app.rixe.ai/assistant). You can also find it with the ⌘K search.

How it works

Each time you ask, Rixe rebuilds a fact sheet for the current workspace from the last 30 days:

  • your visibility overview and engine breakdown;
  • the competitor ranking;
  • your strongest and weakest prompts;
  • gaps — prompts where a competitor is named and you are not;
  • the coverage of your prompt set across the buyer journey;
  • up to four knowledge-base passages that match the question (Brand vault and knowledge base).

When the question is about sources or fan-out queries, the matching data block is added too. The model is asked to explain these figures; it has no tools and cannot change anything in your account on its own. The last few turns of the conversation are sent along, so follow-up questions work.

It explains, it does not measure

The assistant reads the numbers Rixe has already measured. It does not query the AI engines for you, and its answer is only as fresh as your latest daily measurement.

Using it

  1. Type a question in the box (for example Why did we drop this month?) and press Ask. Enter sends; Shift+Enter adds a new line.
  2. Or pick one of the Quick questions: How is our visibility this month?, Why are competitors ahead?, Which prompts are weakest?, What should I do first?
  3. Read the answer. Links in it take you to the relevant page — Competitors, Prompts, Sources, Pages, Content, Coverage, Knowledge base or Actions. A copy button copies the answer, and a small line shows what that answer cost (This answer $…).
  4. Act on a follow-up button, when the answer offers one (see below).
  5. Start over with New chat.

Follow-up buttons

Under some answers, Rixe offers one-click actions. They only appear when they connect to something real that Rixe already holds; the model cannot invent a target.

ButtonWhat it does
Add these N fan-out queries to proposedFiles up to 10 fan-out queries the engines ran, that you do not track yet, as proposed prompts in Prompt Research. Already tracked or declined ones are skipped.
Open outreach tasks for N sourcesOpens a task for up to 3 sources the answer named that lift a rival and never cite you. Sources with an open task are skipped. See Sources, outreach and PR.
Track {name} as a competitorAdds a brand the answer mentioned, that keeps appearing in answers but you do not track, to your competitors (within your workspace's competitor limit).
Turn this finding into an actionAdds the finding to the action plan.

After a click the button confirms where the result went, for example Action added — in Actions.

History

The History rail lists the conversations you have had in this workspace, newest first (the 50 most recent are listed). Conversations are private to the person who had them: teammates do not see your questions. Delete conversation removes one. The first question becomes the conversation's name.

Limits and plans

  • The assistant is in every plan.
  • Each answer is a model call. On brand plans it counts toward your monthly AI allowance; on agency plans it draws credits from the site's share. If your organisation has connected its own model key, the call is billed to that key instead. The cost of each answer is shown under it.
  • To keep one session from running up the bill, you can ask at most 20 questions a minute.
  • Read-only roles (Viewer) cannot ask questions or use follow-up buttons, since both spend or write. See Team and roles.

See Plans and limits.

Tips

  • Ask about one thing at a time. "Which competitor gained most on comparison prompts?" gets a sharper answer than "tell me everything".
  • If an answer says data is thin, believe it: a score from fewer than 4 runs shows "not enough data", and the assistant works from the same figures.
  • The assistant is also available to AI tools through MCP, and inside the workflow builder as Copilot (Autopilot and workflows).
